This talk will focus on Voxel-based Soft Robots (VSRs), a form of robots that grants great freedom in the design of both body and controller and is hence promising in terms of biodiversity.
When: Monday 8th of November 2021
Where: in Sala Cappella, ex Ospedale Militare, via Fabio Severo 40, and online on Zoom
Eric Medvet is an Associate Professor in Computer Engineering at the Department of Engineering and Architecture of University of Trieste, Italy. He founded and leads the Evolutionary Robotics and Artificial Life lab (ERALlab); he is the co-founder and co-head of the Machine Learning Lab.
