Brief course: DIVERSITY OF MIRROR IMAGES: ASYMMETRY AND THE ORIGIN OF CHIRALITY IN NATURE – Fabio Benedetti

Fabio Benedetti is a Professor of the Department of Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Trieste University and President of the Collegio Fonda. He will run a brief course for the Collegio Fonda students introducing the phenomenon of chirality, starting with an overview of asymmetry in nature and presenting, at the end, hypotheses about the origin of chirality in the universe. The course is intended not only for students in the fields of science and biomedicine, but also for students in the humanities who are curious about natural phenomena.
