Admissions

The Collegio Fonda is open to students enrolled at the University of Trieste and admission is determined by merit only.

All admitted students will benefit from free accommodation and access to the exclusive educational activities.

Available positions

• 16 “junior” positions available to students who will be enrolling in the first year of any “Laurea” (3-year Bachelor’s Degree program) or “Laurea Magistrale a ciclo unico” (single-cycle, 5- or 6- year Master’s Degree program) at the University of Trieste.
  Deadline for applications: August 29th, 2023

  DEADLINE EXTENDED:
  For 5 “junior” positions the new deadline for applications is September 27th, 2023

• 10 “senior” positions available to students who will either be
  • enrolling in the first year of any “Laurea Magistrale” (2-year Master’s Degree program) at the University of Trieste, or
  • enrolling in the fourth year of any “Laurea Magistrale a ciclo unico” (single-cycle, 5- or 6- year Master’s Degree program) at the University of Trieste. In some cases, enrollment in the third year is allowed (see call for applications for details)

Requirements

Applicants are required to take an entrance exam as specified in the call for applications.

Candidates for “junior” positions must:

• Take a TOLC test prior to application
• Hold a qualification that grants access to such degree programs
• Be enrolling for the first time in the selected program
• Be 24 years old or younger

Candidates for “senior” positions must:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification that grants access to the selected Master’s Degree program. Students who will obtain their Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent degree) by the 31/10/2023 or the first Fall session available at their university are also eligible to apply.
• Be enrolling for the first time in the selected program
• Be 29 years old or younger
